Medicare Clinics, (operating under Ace Medicare Clinics Limited, AMCL) Ota, Nigeria is now partnering with a leading healthcare facility, Artemis Health Institute, based in Gurgaon, India.
This partnership will bring into Nigeria, and make available for Nigerian patients, the latest in healthcare diagnostics and treatment.
Speaking on the partnership, Dr. Kushagra Katariya, the CEO, Artemis Health Institute noted that the partnership will be a big international collaboration for the benefit of the patients and the two organisations. The Controller, International & Corporate Business of Artemis Health Institute, Mr. Abhik Moitra also said the partnership signals the commencement of great opportunities and openings between the two partners. He foresees a very bright horizon in the future.
Areas of collaboration identified in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 7th October 2009 in Gurgaon include:
- Patient referrals between the two hospitals to enable quicker and effective treatment.
- Intellectual exchange towards benefit of each other for the training and skill update of staff.
- Support of the marketing efforts towards promotion of the partnership in the local community.
The two organisations will co-host their first International Conference in Nigeria in December 2009 to generate greater awareness on the latest medical diagnostics and treatment.
The Medical Director of Medicare Clinics, Dr. O.O. Kukoyi, who signed on behalf of the hospital, believes this initiative will bring to the patients of Medicare Clinics the latest in health technology and treatment and also open the doors of support, training and knowledge update and exchange.
